LUMA TC contains nutritional elements that have shown remarkable impacts on brain function, effectively targeting the underlying factors contributing to cognitive decline through synergistic action

THE LUMA TC STORY

The human brain is comprised of 100 billion nerve cells with 500 trillion connections. As you age, your brain wears individually based on environmental stressors, toxic exposure, trauma, disease, hereditary vulnerability, and other influences. Consequently, your nerve cells begin to gradually lose normal function. These nerve cells can become inflamed and begin to build up unhealthy protein deposits called plaques and tangles due to aging and faulty cell processes. At some point, these cells can no longer function normally and die, leaving holes and broken circuitry in the brain.

Memory and Brain Amyloid and Tau Effects of a Bioavailable Form of Curcumin in Non-Demented Adults:  A Double-Blind, Placebo-Controlled 18-Month Trial

OBJECTIVE:

Because curcumin's anti-inflammatory properties may protect the brain from neurodegeneration, we studied its effect on memory in non-demented adults and explored its impact on brain amyloid and tau accumulation

Neuro Imaging (FDDNP PET) Data

The FDDNP-PET findings raise the possibility that decreases in plaque and tangle accumulation in brain regions modulating mood and memory are associated with curcumin supplementation

FDDNP binding levels.png

Our positive findings that daily use of TC (Theracurmin) [found in LumaTC] improves memory and decreases amyloid and tau binding in the amygdala and hypothalamus are encouraging that this relatively inexpensive and nontoxic treatment may have potential for not only improving age-related memory decline but also preventing or arresting progression of neurodegeneration and eventually future symptoms of Alzheimer’s disease.

Theracurmin Bioavailability Study

A Double- Blind 3-Way Crossover Human PK Trial showed  that Theracurmin had a much higher absorption efficiency than that of curcumin powder and popular products like BCM-95 and Meriva

Clinical and biological effects of long-term lithium treatment in older adults with amnestic mild cognitive impairment: randomised clinical trial

2023-08-15_11-03-14.png

Experimental studies indicate that lithium may facilitate neuro-trophic/protective responses in the brain. Epidemiological and imaging studies in bipolar disorder, in addition to a few trials in Alzheimer’s disease support the clinical translation of these findings. Nonetheless, there is limited controlled data about potential use of lithium to treat or prevent dementia.
